The firefox plugin Wikipedia Diver (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/13794) does this sort of mapping of your wikipedia history. Note it isn’t compatible with the latest stable release. That said, this technique you point to looks better, as you can control how the mapping is drawn – with the Diver add-on, it splits each “session” apart, which sucks, because you don’t get the picture of how your searches inersect and connect over time. Still, it is an interesting exercise in reflection.
