My wife and I are going geocaching for the first time tonight. We don’t have a moving map unit, just one that shows location. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Well, we went geocaching! We found two of the locations…we think some of the other ones were obsolete. It went fine. You just have to remember which way you have to move given your location and the location of the cache. So, even if your unit only shows your location (Lat/Lon DD MM.MMM in our case), you should be good to go.
