The Blog Police Return
In yet another example of judicial overreaching, a young woman is being punished by her school for a blog post calling her high school administrators “douchebags”, and a District Judge is supporting them in doing so! The student made the offending remarks in her own blog, not affiliated with the school in any way, and not created or published using school computers or bandwidth.
This is ridiculous.
And you know what? Administration at Lewis S. Mills High School who support this– and Judge Mark Kravitz, whose Fascist duds are poking out from beneath the robes he is not fit to wear– you have just proven Avery Doninger right– you are douchebags!

This will bear watching. Recall that in the Morse case (aka “Bong Hits 4 Jesus”) the esteemed Justice Thomas held that students have no rights to violate. I’ll have to read Kravitz’s opinion before I say much more, but it’s not like he’s alone in his views even if we assume the worst.
fwiw, and just in case it’s not clear, I think the judge and school are morally and legally in the wrong, Wrong, WRONG on this. But it doesn’t really matter what we little folk think these days what with the likes of the High Bench we’ve got these days.

very minor point in semantics. prior to actions, they were douchebags. Now, they are simply felching scumbags.
