My lenovo u110 also has a glossy screen (and keyboard!). For ultra-portables this is beyond dumb, for as you point out, the screen is next to useless outdoors. Anyway, when I'm off on my own trying to be creative or whatever, the last thing I want to do is see my own mug. Is that HD solid state?
