The Fairbanks North Star Borough Youth Assembly is blogging. It will be fun to watch their site evolve and their mission hopefully become more visible and tied to the larger community they serve.
One of the interesting things as I helped with this project is watching the shifting definition between their static web site and their blog. In my opinion, almost the entirety of their static site could (and should) be replaced by the weblog, well-chosen categories, and some WordPress ‘pages’– Borough staff have been very helpful, but running changes through an already busy designer always slows down changes that could be wrought instantly on the blog.
