A small sample, but it's my world. The scary part of your comment is that we may both be right in the most damaging ways. But as I've maintained for a while, I think Republicans are much better at making the blind vote and voting strategically regardless of the gag-factor. Too many plank-related litmus tests that define their vote, in the end, over the people they are voting for. It is only partly true.
