And while you’re at it, don’t miss Mark Cuban’s take on this from the other side. There are some good arguments toward setting up a faster access lane out of dark fiber, and he hits some good ones.

The problem with Cuban’s argument is that net neutrality DOESN’T restrict having tiered services– only that the tiering is based on bandwidth consumption (as it is now) rather than on double-charging content providers and consumers to provide preferential treatments based on the type and vendor of content…
i.e. Paying more for using streaming video services is good, paying more to access MSNBC streams at the same quality as opposed to, say, CBS, because your ISP has a deal with CBS is bad.
