I suspect the other reason Americans don't watch it is it's not something network TV has figured out how to market. In other words, hockey games, basketball games, etc have commercial breaks. Soccer is a long, continous run for 90 minutes. So now the networks can't really make money off of it. Sad, isn't it? I thought the US team was admirable against Italy. Next we go up against Ghana minus two players. We'll see..... I’m following the Cup with rabid enthusiasm.
